Mien Related Groups

The Mien here have begun to pray for two separate but related unreached people groups.  They are the Lanten and the Mun.  They both live in this same country but are almost completely unreached.  You can pray with us for them, too!  Thank you!

Mien Chrono Project

We are in the middle of sharing Chronological Bible Stories with our Mien group.  We start by doing them in the trade language and before the night is finished each story is translated into the Mien language.  When we are completely done with this, we will compile all of these stories in the Mien language, print them up to make quality audio recordings.  This will constitute a Mien "audio Bible" which can be used among the Mien all over Southeast Asia.  Please pray that this project is completed and effective!

Pray for a Spirit Possessed Mien Man

I just got a call yesterday from a young Mien lady in another province who has been actively serving God for the last few years bearing much fruit in her village and a nearby village.  She asked for prayer for a man in the next village over who has been possessed by an evil spirit and has tried to kill himself.  She didn't tell me many details, but asked us all to pray for him.  So, please join us in prayer for this man.  If I find out more details I will give an update.

Mien Research

We have a Mien intern working here with us now.  One of his projects is to build a database of every Mien family that lives in our city.  The purpose is so that we can systematically pray for them, visit them and build relationships as we share the gospel.  Please pray for this project to be completed and effective for its purpose!  Pray that the Mien of our city will be reached and turn to Jesus!
